Some impact was lost due to the fact that the cougar wasn't a "drug crazed maniac".

Yeh its weird when you hear about big cats in this country that have escaped from various places.

Surrey has always had a rumour of the "Surrey Puma" which a teacher I had claimed to see...but who knows.

I guess if they are roaming around, theyre probably intelligent enough to avoid human contact at all costs, and just go after farm animals at night or whatever.

Whoever wrote that article obviously didn't proof read it either.

There was a black panther in my area for 3-4 days a while ago. Apparently as close as 100m away.

Heh, it does actually.

This guy's like a modern David Livingstone, but not as impressive.
