Stevie wouldn't leave for Everton, they're smaller than us. And I used Mikey in my "most wanted" column. But thinking about it, he really should have been a come-back-to-us.

Stevie has dithered about leaving for seasons now. I'm bored of it. Either he tells us or he doesn't. Xabi Alonso is actually more valuable to us now, I think. With the money we could get for the Stevie, we could buy 3 properly world class players.

On the other hand, Stevie is one of the best midfielders in the world and Scouse, so I'd love him to stay. But not if he doesn't want to. I wouldn't be all "arrrgh sol is judas sol is judas" type pathetic about him, and I'm sure the Kop will cheer him when he comes back to Anfield. But Liverpool are on the up, I think. He should commit.
