A confident enough and deserved victory, in a game that was affected by the heat. In the end, the touch of class was the difference between the two sides. This was particularly shown by the quality Van Persie showed having coming on as sub and scoring 2 brilliant goals.
Roll on 4-in-4 cups per final under Wenger!
Let's hope the Geordie Boys get one over Fergie's brigade.
:)
3-0 coincidentally.

Exactly.

Ironic, first thing Andy Gray said was "It's clear Arsenal haven't been fully concentrating on this, with the teams they've been fielding." He's right, too.

Indeed, i'm quite a fan of his (except when he's performing his heroics against United), wouldn't mind seeing him in goal for Man United next year.
That 3rd Arsenal goal was worth it just to see Todd take out Percy, the old 'accidental' run into the player trick, classic defending it be. :-D
Van Persie's goals were fantastic. Too bad that fool Todd had to ruin it.

Ah, touche. However, we blatantly weren't trying. Fielding people like Zak Whitbread is never a sign of desire. And even Traore couldn't have scored that superb goal by accident. He wanted an own goal, because he knew (Djimi is psychic) that if we bothered with a piffling matter like the FA Cup Stevie's arms might get too tired to lift the European Cup. And that would never do. Miner Dudek would step forward with his Miner arms. That'd be awful.
Err...yeah...erm....Pires is gay and Vieira dives.

Sounds like a betting tab.

Disappointing that we're not in Champs League, but surely it must be worse that you got knocked out of a lesser competition if you're so high and mighty.
