Yes, "Freeola Hill", that's gonna be the title of my cartoon. You can find info (that I cant be bothered to write again) in Very_Metal's New Animation thread.
All members, including staffies should apply for a role, all you have to do is be an animal, not much else.
If you want to become a character I will need some ideas about the kind of animal/Plant that you will be. Also ideas for others, if they haven't already decided. If you're desperate for a character to do with you, but isnt you (eg. spouse) mention them.

Appearences sorted
Me - a sunflower (Pretty darn good!)
Sera - a bunny (need reply)
Machie - a fox (needs a bit of work)
Smedlos - a monkey
Matt - a trolley driving raccoon
Bob - a killer whale
Twain - a badger
Al - a wolf
VM - a mushroom (:P)
Shooby - Trippy Raven
pb - an owl (you're now the same species as Hedfix)
Snake 11 - a snake
Hedfix - a mentally ill owl
Chaos - a day saving tree
Borat - a sheep (actually a wolf)
Vexxxed - a polo bear
Ladybird - a sexy ladybird
Cong Man - a drunken gorilla

Background characters
Kilgore - a trout
Reverend Paul - a giraffe with a limp

I like the idea of a giraffe with a limp, so is it ok to make a background character with an annogram of your name, Kawada?

Oh, bogger, my scanner isn't working :'(
I could put the ones I've done online if it were, sorry.

*Tries to fix scanner*

no dude, you`re on the right track with Flash, it`s probably your best bet for 2d stuff.

i`m tempted to just do a load of drawings, scan them and composite it all in video editing software, but i like 2d animation with a lot of dropped frames (like when you see animatics on dvd extras), i dig the style; but if you wanted fluid 2d animation (no dropped frames) then stck with flash and DO make use of onion skinning, but be sure to use it in conjuction with timeline scrubbing/playback, not as an alternative... there`s no substitute for timing.

That pretty much shows how out of date I am with animation software then. Can you recommend some good 2D animation software (I know you're in to your 3D stuff, but I love 2D)

Only the 'pede' side and don't mention kids films otherwise he's likely to lose his parole. :(

most animation software will have timeline scrubbing anyways, so onion skinning isn`t as vital as it once was. It`s still useful of course, but if you`ve got a good eye for motion then scrubbing will get you by.
