Surely this must have been going for over a year now.
Anyway, yuss, thank you to pb for picking me as winner of the last SSC, and here’s a new little thinger to get your mitts stuck into. I thought I’d choose this topic after the song my winning story reminded pb of, because I’m sentimental and all, awwww. Anyway, go forth and bring back a story related to or entwined with (or something) the topic of:
Wire(s)
So, yuss, stick that in there somewhere. I don’t care how.
Rules:
- Not too long, y’know. FFF doesn’t want to be outdone, does he? (ah crap, I know what’s coming)
- Entries must be good (sorry crossbob).
- Needs to be in by midnight on 28th April, that’s a Thursday. I’ll judge on the Friday.
Go.

Okay, okay, okay. Judgement time. Hurrah and such.
3rd Place: "Instinct" by Paradox
Short, snappy, and for all but one of the paragraphs really, really good.
2nd Place: "Invisible Wires" by Meka
I felt this was something quite different to most other Meka stories, and I really enjoyed it. Top stuff.
Winner: "Loss" by Stryke
Excellent, emotional, and yeah. Brilliant. I related to it on so many levels.

Now I understand that Stryke isn't going to be posting much at the minute, and because of this SSC24-creating duties should probably be done for him if he doesn't create one himself in the next few days. So, ummm, if anyone has any suggestions about what should be done...suggest them, and such. Maybe we should let somebody who hasn't picked a topic before to pick one. Step into the mind of Stryke. Just don't go over the top and make it "Milan Baros" or something.
In fact I haven't even had time to read any of the entries yet! I'll have a fair bit to catch up on when I do get around to it.
Hurry hurry.
As are everyone else's, so it's a moo point.
*collapses*
> Pushover. Only because you buff FFF to the max and want him to win.
> You're like Simon Cowell on valium.
I'd have done exactly the same for you or anyone, actually. Though you're correct if you think I think he's an amazing writer.
Now I feel obliged to actually finish it.
Argh, okay, I will do.
But if it's crap, I blame you.
