Well it's half-time and Los Galacticos are winning 3-1. They look very good in attack but both defences look horrible...Barcelona had no idea what hit them. They managed to pick themselves up and score 1 goal though...going to be a good 2nd half but it looks like the old Real attack is back :D

El Grand Classico is Spanish for Grand National, right?

I don't like the nags.

I find you can never have too much of that. But not at the expense of El Grand Classico.

Yeah, but I had some good sitting around time to catch up on instead.

I suppose it didn't have the same away goals edginess and all that, but both teams looked like scoring every time they went forward, and it meant so much to them both.

The hush around the stadium as Ronaldinho's free kick went in was stunning.

I never felt there was any kind of chance of it going any way other than to Real. Chelsea v Barca had the edge that any goal was going to affect the winner at the loser - it was exciting. Real vs Barca may have been a mint match, but I was never on the edge of my seat.

Beckham was fantastic. Not only his long balls....passes, one of which set up Owen, but defensively too.

El Derby was as good as Chelsea vs Barca, you missed a treat Stryke.

Beckham put the Mike through. It was all pretty touching stuff. The look on his face is what I imagine he'd have been like at 8 on Christmas morning.

It was like watching Beckham back in 1999. Only playing for Man United (as he, like every other England player, was pretty crap under Keegan)

If only they played like that every match. They'd score as many as they do in the Pro Evo master league. And I think that's impossible.
