Depends on whether you see it as a sci-fi film or something more vague, i thought the whole point was questioning your own existstance although it could be to do with mental health.

Well, duh.

He will "die" again though, and just be back in dreamland again.
"Where do I start, Where do I begin?" etc.
A lot of similarities in the two films:-
1 - Cruise starring with his real-life woman,
2 - Cruise imagining his woman with another bloke in black and white,
3 - Cruise wearing a mask in some scenes,
4 - Cruise wondering what the f--k is going on in most scenes
5 - Cruise having annoying tendency to repeat what someone just said to him:-
"Do you have to go?"
"Do I have to go?" and
"She died this afternoon."
"She died this afternoon?" and
"What is happiness to you?"
"What is happiness to me?"
For the record I thought EWS was a far better film, VS had good music tho, esp Underworld's Res in nightclub. Not seen Open Your Eyes.
mmm, I'm sooo bored!!
It might just be me, but it did seem like everyhting was almost spoon-fed to the viewer. I prefered Open your eyes, and you see Penny's boobs in it.
Similarly written to "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Also an awsome film.

And?
They could fix it and there'd be no problems.
They could even put him in the real world future in his dream ... except he'll be able to do whatever he wants. No more nightmare, endless boning and funfun.
