This is getting on my nerves now. Yesterday morning, I was woken at 5:50am to the sound of repeated beeping. I waited for about 20 seconds, hoping it wouldn't wake the family up (which by some slimmer of luck it didn't), then realised that it wouldn't turn off. I tried to follow the noise, but I failed to find it instantly. Thinking it was either my mobile phone or GBA SP chargers, I unplugged both of them but the noise failed to cease. About a minute later it turned off, and I thought that'd be the last I heard of it. Yesterday afternoon I went for a look through the drawers in the vincinity of where the noise had been, and found a tamagotchi with no battery power. Thinking that was the cause of the problem, I stuck it next to my pillow, to see if it would happen again. Thinking that my problems were solved, I went back to sleep.

Or not. This morning, at the exact same time the beeping happened AGAIN! I unplugged the stereo in an attempt to stop the noise, but I was wrong again. What kind of evil twisted sleep-stopping beeper would go off at exactly 5:50 for about three minutes?!? I'm losing sleep over this thing now.

You guys have any ideas what could be causing the problem? I'm desperate! My sleep, which is bad enough already, is at risk!

Just fire off an EMP in your room - that'll sort it.

My guess is a watch if it's going off at the same time.

Nonsense, 'your eyes are like two puddles of love' is already cheesier and if I took my time I could do worse.

Don't tempt me.

Same kind of thing happened to me. Just turned out to be an old malfunctioning watch. You'll just have to find every electrical item in your room, put them in one place and then find out which one it is the next time it happens.
