In other news my freelance work came back to me with a 'yes' - yay!
Like game creation forums, etc, people want community sites, and its usually people who will pay a fair bit but not really sure what they want, so you can take advantage of them changing their mind once you've done the job.
eg, "i want a forum.." so you do a forum, they say "wow, that's cool" give you the money, and then they come back and say "umm, can you add a ranking system...?" and then you say stuff like "hmm, im pretty busy on other sites at the mo, so unless you can offer me a good deal, it'll have to wait"
I get alot of dump american people with strange amounts of money, so you can usually get about £200 off them in total for just a straight forward community site.
People I've spoken to say they go into places and contact people to see if they want a website doing.
I can't see how that works but, meh.
I bearly use dreamweaver any more, but i use it because it has a nice interface, the real time design is pretty awkward.
What do you use?
The person I work with, on the other hand, has a habit of drawing something in Dreamweaver, hitting 'Publish', then charging a client. That isn't web design.
How many people are in it, what do they do?
Im just curious.
