My friend said that he don't think I'd get anything for doing just a year. Is this true or does it depend on the course and University?
If it is true I may as well leave now and work for a bit, rather than keep going to uni for nothing.

My folks went out for 8 months before getting engaged and they've been married for 27 years now. So that's a moo point.
