After doing 1 year of a 3 year course I've decided it isn't for me. I decided a few months ago to stick the course out for a year just to get whetever you get for a year.

But..

My friend said that he don't think I'd get anything for doing just a year. Is this true or does it depend on the course and University?

If it is true I may as well leave now and work for a bit, rather than keep going to uni for nothing.

Yeah, I mean when I read my text book I always go off ona tangent reading up on things I want to know about. The lectures are pretty interesting too..but studing it isn't good.

Yep, find it very interesting; that's the kinda stuff I like to know about, but would never do it.

Well, I only really done the first semester. Each lecture would be about things such as police and the policing, magistates court, victimology, etc etc.

Are you interested in it then?

My folks went out for 8 months before getting engaged and they've been married for 27 years now. So that's a moo point.
