Anyone been watching this? Series at 7 every day on BBC1. Team of divers going into underexplored territory by actually diving the Amazon. I reallly enjoy my scuba diving and aquatic life, so could be just me interested in this, but I doubt the BBC would commission a series just for me....Could happen, though. I won't rule it out.

Anyway, it unfortunately has Kate Humble gurning away at every moment, but once they actually start filming the animals, it's spectacular. Today they were after freshwater dolphins, giant otters, and a bloodsucking catfish that's been known to swim up a penis. Didn't swim up Kate Humble's, though.

Tomorrow I think they're going after an anaconda., and yesterday they were after a giant catfish called a jau. What I really like about this series, as morbid as this sounds, is that no divers have ever done this before. There was nearly an accident in a night dive today, and when they go under, they seriously have no idea what could be down there.

Maybe the anaconda will eat Kate Humble tomorrow.

Oh, and Paul "Withnail & I" McGann narrates. This is great, I can imagine him sauntering onto the screen and yelling at Kate Humble that she's not an expert on bulls.

The anaconda didn't eat Kate Humble in the end. Although she go snorkelling in a lake, and then the guide spotted a really venomous coral snake, and it was great to see Kate Humble blatantly thinking "ohmigodohmigodimgoingtodie".

I bet the guide was speaking in snake-language. "Bite Kate Humble. Bite Kate Humble."

Fumbling down an alleyway. There's no way Blessed would get in on that hot action, although I'm sure he'd be gentle.

Could you imagine him scuba diving? It'd be this great big beardy mass doing slow circles underwater and even though he had a respirator in his mouth, he'd still be incredibly loud. Then, when all the fish are scared away, they'd lower a crane and haul him up. As soon as his head breached the surface you'd hear this superb laughter-bellow for about 20 minutes straight.

It's a brilliant idea.

Yeah, but this is an experiment in seeing how long a crew of assorted Brazilians can stand Kate Humble whinging before they feed her to the piranhas.

Well, I'm not denying that. He could jump on sharks and wrestle them and chuckle inanely when they try to rip his Franco-Aussie leg off.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
