Whilst being naff in places it was overall decent. Some good scenes, it was better when it stayed more psychological and the phantoms stayed in the shadows - when they were exposed you could see the crappy CGI.
Comparisons to Ring are inevitable.

Note - decent in my vocabularly means mediocre, average, 5/10.

The first film was overrated, as are most films. I liked the film for what it was, and the DVD extras were quite enjoyable, but it's no masterpiece, let's face it.

The ending of Blair Witch was a big non event to me, it was only when I came out of the cinema that I realised what was supposed to of happened. I just thought the dude was taking a leak in the corner and someone had jumped on the camera woman.

Having said that though the bit when the kids are crying and something jumps on their tent was pretty damn scary at the time.

Anyone else seen Blair Witch 2? It was alright, but nothing special.

Oh, and The Grudge 2 remake has been greenlit.

Yah, feet turned in, jerky, you just get the impression of this incredibly evil being, an ill force, slowly making it's way towards you.

The original is a bit, well, rubbish, to be honest.

The Blair Witch ending was excellent, as was the bit when they're running away and an absolutely massive stick-man thing flashes past.

But most of it's a bit boring.

Films like that you have to watch on your own, preferably when s**toned. You can't shat yourself when your mate next to you is going "Hey, watch this bit, it's sh*t scary"

Heh, that scene was excellent. All of a sudden you just click thinking, "Hey! They said she makes people stand in the corner--". T'is good.
Still love the Scary Movie version of it.. the bubbles in the nose. :)

You're giving me the I? It's Stryke. With a y.

I don't really know why I care in the slightest. Buffy isn't hot anymore, anyway. She's all thin and you know she's been with the loser from She's All That.

Still love the T.V show, though.
