This is a very bad idea, that ranks right up there with Adolf Hitler, the Xbox and splitting the FOG.
Plus, this is kind of a net safe haven where I can be sure I am not talking to Americans.

ukdiscussions.com is fine, it says everything about what the user should expect. Plus you are a UK company, a change of name will attract more forigns to the site.
I think everything is ok as it is, nothing needs to be changed.

I think that mixing the different areas of the world together could be a bad idea. Surly the introduction of people like the americans will only cause both sides (here and there) to start some kind of war. Also, in terms of games, America will usually recieve them about 6 months before we do and with the flood of people that would probably join, topics may be formed where us UK people could not contribute.
If anything, the regulars at this site would not like to hear lots of bragging and announcements concerning games that we dont even have a set release date for. "Yeah, I completed Metal Gear Solid in 4 hours flat on Very Hard, 6 times" and "Remember that bit in the plot where..."
Im not knocking the idea, but if the site was to be for the whole world, there should be separate areas for different regions as well as a main one.

Tony, you are the manager or whatever, so if you feel the need to extend this great site world wide, you do so,but just think how crowded it is, and how crowded it could be, why i rememeber you trying to find a way of catching up with topics more easily, now you want more people, more topics!!!??
