Should we change the name of UKdiscussions.com?

Well to be fair theres nothing stoping foreiners coming to this site as it is. They can come but they must put up with the UK bit.

I agree, I must say, that I prefer it as a UK discussions site. Now I have played on-line with Americans in games such as Diablo and that's all fine and well but if we had a worldwide discussion site it may become too full as has already been said and this can't be a good thing. The thing is that you might not attract much attention to the site for foreigners anyway. Since it is a UK based company who deal with UK releases and mostly people in the UK, people outside the UK will not be interested. Perhaps mostly because they have their own sites by companies which deal predominantly in their country and some of them may even have discussion boards which allow like minded (and unlike minded) people from the same country to discuss things about the way gaming is going in their country.

Anyway, to sum up the confusing paragraph above... STAY UK!

Well i think that proves that everyone here wants us to stay as UK disscussions, i think it is more to do with the hatred of the yanks and japaneese more that anything else but hey, lol!! WE STAY!

The problem with making UKdiscussions a worls site, is that unless there is some sort of translator, then some countries will not understand us and we may not understand them.

I would also say stay UK only. The site would get swompped with out of towners(countrys). The Japanese people will be discussing all the new games that we wont have till next year e.t.c. If people from here want to go and join in multi country message boards then go to www.gamefaqs.com. They deal with a message board for each game. This is the main site I use for discussions as the people here are all from the UK. We get the games at the same time e.t.c. I would'nt feel right if it changed to a World board.

Nah, stay as a UK site because every other site you go to is always full of Americans with few British people. And by not having the Americans in, we wont have everyone boasting about how they got 'this game' 'this long' before us. Keep it as it is!

Although you ship outside the UK, you are predominantly a UK site, so I think it should remain UKdiscussions.com

Neither you as hosts, nor we as customers, go out of our way to deter 'foreigners'; in fact I think we do - and will always - welcome them (unless they genuinely warrant flamnig, of course!)

But to be honest there are more than enough US/global discussion boards, and I find it quite nice to have a decent UK-centric discussion forum.
