That's sick.

It is a major breakthrough, and I can imagine it helping a lot of people. When it comes out, it'll change the world for lots of people. But it'll be hard for people who were blind to see again, and adjust to the sense of seeing once more. Especially if they were born blind.

Yup, but as they say, a lot of development needs to go into it. I reckon in about 20 years, they would have perfected it.

I remember reading something a while ago about using tissue taken from the eyes of an aborted fetus to use for a blind person to restore sight and I think it proved successful. Not entirely sure of the whole story, but I'm glad they came up with this!
