Ok, I've spent days and weeks on this website. I'd very much appreciate it if anyone can give me a hand to sort out the errors and glitches within. I know it's crappy but it's my first PROPER website. Thanks

Erm, not much of a copy of mine is it.

Please change it. I show my designs on here because I thought people on this forum were trust worthy. How wrong I was.

Bloody hell, you've even used the same "class" names as me. Copying an idea is one thing, but directly copying the code is another.

Yeah that's fine. I wasn't referring to your website but Timmargh's as it is similar to the older version of his website. The web development section of my site has been removed and deleted as it has no relevance to my project (my design breif specifies that it must be strictly e-commerce)

Don't care, why should your GCSE be merrited on someone elses work? You only get a true understanding for things if you do them yourslef. You also get more satisfaction out of it.

Remove my work immediately and all will be fine as I will do what ever it takes to protect my owbn work, shcool kid or not.

I'll be watching your site over the next couple of days.

I'm sorry for the copying of such sites. This site, however, was merely a project amongst friends for my Media Studies GCSE. After discovering my very lame attempt to create a website for a make-believe band ( http://www.king.ray.btinternet.co.uk/media/home.htm ) We were advised to do an e-commerce site. This is it. Again, I am really sorry for copying sites but I really need this GCSE because I've missed so much school due to an illness. If I can modify this site but keep the content. Will it be fine to keep it? It's just until the end of April and it will be marked. Sorry again

Thank you

I'm all for nicking code here and there, this is the essence of the internet and open source, but I'm not in the habit of having people blatently rip my sites, epsecially when posting their probelms in the same forum I frequent.

Word of warning, ripping is enough to have your hosting cancelled under breech of copyright/intellectual rights in the UK. I've done it to people before, I'll do it again.

Also, you infringement was enough for me to tesar you apart in court and land you with leegal bills and fines/compensation running into thousands.

I've only just finished a legal battle with an insurannce firm over copyright becuase the white space used in the JS file on my clients website was the same as the site it was ripped from. Luckily for my client, it was thrown out of court. But they could have been looking at a bill of £30,000 for damges/costs.

I'd remove the others too before Timmargh sees them.

There's plent of people here who can help with problems, if you can demonstrate you not ripping others work. The funny bit is, is you complete demonstration and lack of understanding in ripping my work, how you managed to balls up a site which worked ok across most browsers I'll never know as all you had to do was change the images. You couldn't even go as far as changing the text.

FWIW, and this is a note too all setting up on their own, you cannot charg TAX/VAT unless you are VAT registered, this is illegal in the UK and will find you with a wopping fine from the IR if they ever find out. (Refering to payemts section on your site).

Gone. That was me experimenting with CSS. Didn't work out too good though. Sorry Tyla, I was meant to remove it way back
