Now head on and find out (at the same time, let others have the oppurtunity) how clear you are in your conception.
J-42, your definition is the simplest definition of music. And its actually good that you stuck to simplicity. But then, the noise of your HD, or the whinning of the PS2 fan are music, because they too are sounds. In other words, every sound would be music. So, there, JNash, youre right.
I'll copy and post an entry from the Oxford dictionary, just to tell you how accurate you were: -
Music - sounds that are arranged in a way that is pleasant or exciting to listen to. People sing music or play it on instruments:
Anyways, who are the people whose opinions on music you want?
Maybe, after they are listed, they'll want to post here...

That's probably the closest you could get to explaining it! ;) Actually, yep, I think you're spot on. Sometimes when there are horrible things happening around you and you're listening to such a great song, you really do wish to just disappear into the music somewhere because it's so damn good. It's probably a comfort thing. Music's a nice place to go to because I think you can just be your absolute self when listening to it. Almost like a little land of it's own. "Welcome to Music-town!"
Yep, you explained it better. :)
Edit.. 'Kay.. thought a little too much about it :-p

Maybe you want to be a part of the video, or picture/imagine a video with you in it?
I am touched by your grateful actions. Thanx for sticking to the topic and not insulting/abusing me.
But Monkey Man, is music only a "Madonna album"? You sure listen to other artists, dont you? Whats your audioscrobbler page?
