OK, there have been loads of bumble bees around recently and I know they'd be amazing to 'get' but I can't bring myself around to 'getting' them, seeing as they're queens and all, and how they'll make more bees...

But what am I on about anyway?

That!

1,500 volts of pure fun, and pain if you touch it!

The flies have come out in force today so I've been zapping them all day, they make a lovely spark when you hit them too, plus if they get stuck between the wires they'll start burning and smoking!

I won't get bees though, because bees are good. Plus I won't get wasps because they're good too, but good for another reason...

I'm gonna try and tie two of them together this year, last year was good enough with the paper plane flying off behind the wasp, but I feel that two of them wanting to go in opposite directions will be even more fun, especially if they clotheline a chav and, um, yeh...

I can't wait for summer to get going properly, it's soooo much fun!

How the hell do you tie a bit of string around a wasp?
I run as soon as they come near me, unless I've got something death-shaped to hand.

Oh wow, am I supposed to envy you?

What's the harm (humanwise) of just messing about and tying a wasp to a string or playing with a 1,500v fly swat?

It's fun, nothing will happen from it, plus the fact that I'm older doesn't mean I've got to stop doing stuff like this when I'm bored and want 30 mins of random fun. It's not as if I do it 24/7 either, it's not like Hedfix's posting.

Big deal! No need to show that you're all grown up. Some people enjoy killing stuff, kay?

It's an old Sony Cybershot P72, they don't make them anymore.

I'll gladly kill a fly or a wasp because they're small and pathtic, plus they're evil. However bees and spiders I won't kill. I'd just 'poo' myself and run away from a spider!

This has sprung up a interesting topic.
I'm sure you have all killed/tortured small animals such as ants and ladybirds. But would you ever kill the bigger animals such as cats or cows for fun?

The fire one sounds quite fun.

Wasp on a string is great fun though. I took it for a walk last year, then it started chasing me so I ran. Unfortunately I forgot to let go of the string so it followed me, resulting in me screaming while running around the garden.

It upset me.

wasps deserve whatever pain you can dish out to them.
