Anyway, Baros vs Defoe.
Defoe in these 2 internationals - 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 penalties won
Baros in these 2 internationals - 2 goals, 3 assists, 1 penalty won
King of Mali and Mido for Spurs. For sure.
Defoe now has a chance to show what he can do in the next game, it will be interesting to see how he links up with Rooney et al.
And I'd like to see the Baros vs. Defoe goals now.
You can't have it both ways, Bro.
And owen wasn't that bad tonight because his runs were spot on, it was just his finishing that has to be critisised
And yeh I think Defoe would have scored. He runs with the ball better and is a lot faster than Owen who has lost a lot of pace since his wonder days. He sure hits the ball a lot better than Michael 'Give me the ball 2 yards out and I'll tap it in' Owen.
Back in the 1998 WC time, no one in the world was better than Owen, it's just a shame for England he's lost this edge he had over everyone else.
If Defoe had been starting, he'd have scored none, like Owen. But he'd have had no chances, because Owen is better in every single way.
He will become England's highest ever scored. No doubt.
