I know there are a fair few professional web developers/designers in here - has anyone else had a lot of work on recently?

Normally I have to go round looking for work, but I'm absolutely snowed under at the moment!

From what I can tell from speaking to other people, it seems to be a trend at the moment - good for us lot eh?

That's odd, all the Flash menus work on the other pages (in Firefox and IE).
http://www.pfi-holding.com/factories.php, for example.

Doesn't walk. Plus how can you justify a whole site for Saffron Walden?! You could sum it up with a piece of A4 paper!

"Crap at hockey."

There, that's my contribution.

Quitting and trying to go completely freelance terrifies the living f**k out of me. I'm glad I fell in with this lot because they're a relatively inexperienced web design company that specialises in networking, and the bloke who runs it is a complete shark. I'm just too soft to pursue work myself, so he finds it for us.

It's looking that way. There is a recovery happening in the Web/IT industy atm which is good for everyone.

Personally, since quitting my job last week, things have been a bit quiet. Got 3 sites coming in this month which shoul dnet a good couple of grand for the work, plus, finally getting round to sorting out my own site.

Off around local businessess tomorrow to drum up some more work.

I should really look into doing this sort of thing to top up my wages. What sort of sites are you churning out?

The company I work for keeps getting random customers from recommendations by other random customers, so I'm hoping the workflow is steady for...well, ever. I've arranged some nice freelance work for myself in case this dries up.

The person I work with had a mate come back from Uni, so he got some of the Flash work I was expecting to come my way. Damn.
