There was a footy match at Anfield today played to raise money for the Tsunamii appeal.
It was a load of old Liverpool stars such as Ian Rush, John Barnes, Dagleish, Ruddock, Fowler etc. playing against a team of celebrity singers and soap stars. Just wandered if anyone caught it on Sky one or if you were there?
It was great to see all of the great Liverpool players together on one team.
The Ledgends team won, btw, 6-2.

The Celebs could of probably beaten them about 15-2 but they were kind and gave up once they got in the box.

I thought the McFly guy was funny when he fell over. Other than that he was rubbish.
I didnt see what happened to the competition winner. He just seemed to dissapear. he must have been subbed.

Yup watched Lovejoy give the ball away for the first goal, he's going to get some stick for that this weekend on Soccer AM, though it wasn't really his fault, the westlife guy should't have passed it to him with Lovejoy having 3 guys around him. Funny to hear the pool fans give him lots of stick.

Harvey and Ralf Little were quite good though Harvey is one selfish get.
That McFly guy didn't deserve to be on the pitch, pitiful embarrasment.
What happened to that guy who won the competition to play at the game? I saw him come on and they mentioned him then never saw him again apart from a missed effort
