However, with the death of the moth, something inside me had also died. My mood switched, my feelings switched. I was no longer a carefree, harmless-creature-murdering God among men. I was no longer the all-powerful, self-indulgent sexual predator. I became something else. With these new thoughts running through my mind, I returned to bed and contemplated the events that had just occurred.
At 8am I awoke and dressed myself for work. I still lacked confidence, and I had a feeling this would not be like the other days of pleasure that usually made up my life. Sitting at my desk, I felt so alone. I did not usually feel alone. Something had changed; switched, some might say. There were many people moving around, but alone I was in my mind. Trying to shake these feelings off, I went outside for a smoke. I saw a moth fluttering around a bin. It was as black as the darkness that had consumed me last night. Its eyes glowed red with evil and fury. I could hear it laughing as I fell to the ground in agony. I was dying the moth had flicked the switch of death!
