In a nutshell, this explains exactly why the likes of kevstar, with their insistence that their "concerns" are legitimised by tabloids, should be roundly condemned.

I always read it at my friends houses, because their parents buy it.

And I usually leave it crumpled.

After laughing a lot at the poor repressed middle classes who have no freedom of speech and have no money at all.

My gran gets it for the sport.

I've told her the paper would like to say 'vote Tory' but unfortunately for them they also need to sell papers.

Heh. My prospective Ma in law must've been warned about me over the weekend; she had a copy of the Mail sitting in the living room. Before I'd even sat down, she was protesting that she only bought it on Saturday, and only for the TV guide (which, loathe though I am to admit it, is pretty decent).

I had a flick through the paper itself later on. I only thank God I had my gumshield, else I would have ground my teeth down to tiny, tiny stumps.

That this can never happen is conclusive proof of why democracy is wrong. Iran should be liberating us, not vice versa.

My favourite is still the Daily Mail.
Ma buys it and I can't resist thumbing through it having administred sedatives to myself and restrained my arms from flailing about.

Sunday's highlights:
A double page spread about "Neets".
Headline "No job, no GCSEs and a baby at 16 - 1m young Britons not in education, employing or training who cost you billions"

But my personal favourite is from the Peter McKay opinion section, a middle-brow version of The Sun Says.
Talking about the new Dr Who, he writes:
"and the acting - particularly that of the doctor and a black man terrified of the blacmange type monster"

When I am King of Everything, this paper and it's readers will be forced to toil in minority-heavy areas of London working low-paid dangerous jobs.
