For those of you with good taste in comedy films, I will perform the public service of informing you that Police Academy 3 and 4 will be shown on Sky 1 this coming Sunday and Monday (I think those are the right days)

If you've never seen one, please watch one of them as you can't fail to love them.

I'll definitely remember to wear my sailor outfit.

Still it was nice to see Yoda in a healthier form of life, along with his buddies! I missed the storm troopers and Darth Vader - he made Star Wars what it was ;)

Well it was, but I see what you mean - the actors weren't right were they!? Ronan shouldv'e been Obi-Wan!

Makes complete sense! Or maybe not?

It was a good sci-fi film,

I know, Jar Jar was an unecessary extra!

Phantom Menace wasn't as good as everyone expected simply because it wasn't Star Wars.

But not even Star Wars was Star Wars when it 1st came out.

And Jar-Jar Binks...don't get me started on that patsy.

I'm not an obsessed Star Wars fan, sorry! I just like Lucas films and all! Episode one wasn't that bad really, it's just the fact the special effects were so good, it made the story look poor!!

Careful Funky.
Not a fetish, more of an appreciation and a wish to return to the more innocent age of my youth.

Besides, Carrie Fisher in Jedi, that slave outfit.

Saw a confused, hormonally adrift young goat through many a bored time.

You may say Star Wars is better than Police Academy, but you can hardly compare the two to be honest! One is the best set of comedy films ever made and the other is the best set of science fiction films ever made. I think they can happily live side by side.

Oh and Police Academy managed 6 films before it became rubbish - I seem to remember only three in the case of Star Wars. HEH!

Perhaps George spent not enough nights working on his directorial skills, and one too many getting his groove on down at the blue oyster.

Star Wars domination! Are you mad?! You aren't one of those morons that goes round dressed as the characters are you?

In my mind, only 3.

I think that series fell down when it lost the method acting skills of Steve Guttenburg.

One only has to see his performances in movies like 3 Men & a Baby, and 3 Men and a Little Lady to appreciate his dedication to "the craft".

And as for Short Circuit, pure cinematic genius.
