I just got a 5 Philly Willy book boxset thingy from Amazon, for £8-ish. That had Ubik on it too.

Looks great, I'm impressed with the graphical style they've chose.

Let's hope they can use it to do the book justice. I never figured Reeves as a good Bob Arctor. I saw him as a much more rugged character, say like Eric Bana.

I urge you all to read the book before the film tarnishes your perception of it with the face of Keanu Reeves.

Wow i was just reading through some more articles and it turns out they are asking for more people to help out with the film they need more artist for the effects.

Wish i could draw :( although i guess alot of it is tracing.

It uses an later version of a technique used in "Waking Life". Obviously rotoscoped, but beautiful to look at. Oh, Richard Linklater directed School Of Rock too.

It looks bloody fantastic, it's done so well i can't wait to see it all finished, i won't care if it ends up with a naf story i'd go see it just for the effect.

I need to find a site explaining what they used and how they did it.
