When I was 16 and Goldie Hawn still looked good I'd have said a very high gap is very acceptable in extreme circumstances. ;)
It depends - 5 years between a 16 year old, and an 11 year old, is just wrong. But between a 46 year old and a 41 year old, it seems like nothing.
