Has anyone else had the feeling that your friends are actually entirely different from yourself? They don't share the same interests or want to do things anymore. Everyday now I'm looking forward to going to college in the hope that I'll meet people more like me. Also pretty much 95% of people I know intend on staying on at 6 form. Just because they're comfy where they are. I have to leave though. Its quite a weird feeling, growing apart from people I've known for years. I guess its just a sign that I have to move on...

Indeed..I've never really got on well with people from courses I do..I mean we get on and that but I've never met people from school or college who i'd like to socialise with.

Yeah but its really down to luck I suppose. Whether people move with friends etc. Also you have to consider whether 2 or more friends would be doing the same course. I know they'd still be friends if they weren't, though it would give you a chance to get to know 1 person first and then get to know their friends. See?

Everyone grows apart from their friends. In school I had loads of friends..but when I left I knew that I wouldn't speak to many of them again..now most of my friends are from work.

Don't expect to get loads of friends at college though since quite a few will still be friends with their friends from school.

Yup. Isn't nice. I had to move away a month before leaving school so that was a real bummer. Had to make friends all over, but wouldn't change them for the world. And I noticed my old friends were turning in chavs. Glad I got away. :^)
