Oh and a sort code, is the code to identify the bank branch that the accound is registered with. It's like the HQ for your account, and it's normally on your card at the bottom left hand.

income-assessed is when they look at the house income and your loan is dependant on that income, the lower your families income the more loan they give you, and some times they help pay for tution fees, a non-income assessed is jsut the basic loan and you have to pay for your tution fees yourself.
but you have to remember if your family earns alot and you do a income assessed you mite get less than the basic amount.
