to need to pay to get a cheap and good gaming pc, never had one before. This one is poop and I’ve come into some cash and I see no reason why I cant buy a new pc or loads of parts for this one.

I hate to say it, but Alistair and co. Help :^(

It's a couple of months old now, so chances are you could probably get a bit better for the same sort of money, but it ought to give you a rough idea of what you need and prices etc.

Any other questions about specs would probably be better off in the Web and PC forum.

Any chance you could give a run down of everything i need? i have never done this before so i have no sodding idea what I’m looking for, so I don’t know what's good and what's not.

Overclocking is basically clocking harware further than the recommended/stock speeds, thus getting better performance for your buck. Providing you have the right cooling system you can overclock certain hardware parts very far.

All of the above are worth a gander although be weary of buying from Ebuyer, I just use their site to look for new stuff.

I have just built my Uncle a PC for £600 including scanner, printer and digital camera and it would be more than enough to run games on a mediumish setting.
