There's a general election on the horizon and it means government money is coming out of education, healthcare and police and into propaganda campaigns.

It's almost certainly a two-horse race which Cheshire-car faced Tony will win, and blubbering cash-wasting Tories will come second in, before their angered voters turn to more radical right wing parties who offer them policies as opposed to middle-ground but-more-racist-than-labour policies. Namely UKip or BNP, who are openly racist, just not so much middle ground.

Personally I'm voting for the British Socialist Party. Commies, of sorts. I feel that it's an honour to have a vote and I wont waste it, instead I'll plough a wry amount of hope into a small party with a more coherent phillosophy than the chimps-in-suits running the country.

How about you then?

Be political or not-so as you wish.

Ooh and argue, that would be fun.

Because, my dear Sweet Tooth, it may (or may not) be the start of a trend towards further restriction on abortion rights. Four months may seem trivial but it’s the principle. I do not see the need to further limit women’s choices, especially when there are so many more important issues to tackle. Well I am probably over reacting slightly, but the Tories are treading a fine line with me, one between a vote and a messy ballot card.

By the way, no offence, but don't quote the whole damn post in future. Thankyou.

Why does the 24 to 20 months bother you?

Will do. Public decency and hygiene is over-rated anyway.

I am traditionally a Tory and I am tempted to vote for them as it appears the party has been reviving its fortunes of late. But old Howard wants to limit abortion (from 24 to 20 months) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4349581.stm which to be quite frank is extremely annoying (I am financially conservative but socially liberal). I suspect I will be spoiling my ballot card.

How should I go about it this time? Shall I invent my own party on the card, write offensive words or simply soil it?

If I was old enough to vote I'd go with the Green party, or the Monster Raving Looneys if they're still around.
