Well checking my temp files it turns out I get about 500MB per 15 days, which is 1GB per month. That leaves 2GB for Op Flash, which runs at about 10kbps, I estimate, which is about 32MB per hour, which gives me quite a lot of leeway.

The ntl website, however, suggests that i'll only be allowed 0.5hours of online gaming (but for some reason they estimate usage as 40kbps for online gaming, which is way too high)

And for the non-educated of you lot:

· Porn Vortex (n): - A whirling fifth dimension where time has no meaning , encountered when watching adult entertainment or looking for left handed web sites on the internet. One could fall into a porn vortex and emerge ten minutes later to find that three days have elapsed.

Just watch out for porn vortex's. Those things can easily use several hundred megabytes!

Absolutely.

If you have a 40gb harddrive then it would be full after a year of browsing if you downloaded that much stuff.

Three gig is a hell of a lot - not a chance you'd use more than that.

Easily. Plus they won't do much for the first month or so as the limits are new, they'll tell you if you go over.

I've got a 3G limit but I still have no idea how much I use up.
But I've never used it all ... and I'm on the internet quite a lot. Never play any online games, though.
