Yes I do realise you're not on about the year of 1984. I don't actually know what you ARE on about, but I figured out that it wasn't the year.
Don't worry, it's Azul cleverly pointing out that Half Life 2 is set in a dystopian world....

Yeah, that's blindingly obvious.
But there's loads of details that are similar/identical.
The jumpsuits for example and their colour, and the telescreens and the posters of the bloke and the Big Brother is watching you thing.
