Joining in with the spirit of things with all the WWF matches and whatever I have decedied to have a SR football Cup. A few teams of 5 players each and I will make up games and cups etc. :D

SR STADIUM 22nd May Staff United V Notable Rovers

So as the first game of the SR CUP is approaching, the opening ceremony is now over and the players are out on the pitch warming up. Both sets of players are fit, although Ant has a slight ankle worry but is still playing.

0 mins - Game kicks off in Staff favour
2 mins - The notables build down the right, Sniper leaves Webbie standing and drills the ball at goal, fine save by Joe to stop the effort.
11 mins - Corner for Staff, No.10 swings it in high, Ali gets his head onto the ball... GOALLLLLLLLLLLLL superb effort from Ali. Staff 1v0 Notables
22 mins - Sniper loses the ball to Tony, oh hes lashed out at him. Sniper could be in trouble here, RED CARD, hes off. Looks like he is saying something to ref.... "You useless idiot".
32 mins - Meka launches the ball up the park, Grix controls the ball and heads towards the goal... he looks for support, but with the absence of Sniper he has to continue on his own, takes it round Webbie, one on one with Joe, Grix shoots........ OOH It cannons of the crossbar and goes out of play... unlucky.
44 mins - FM takes control of the ball at the back, chips the ball forward to Ant, to high for the small ant, Ali takes control of the ball, hes running towards goal, nutmegs FM and continues the solo run, he has Tony in support..... Ali cross's the ball from the right, Tony stretches out and gets a touch on it........... GOALLLLLLLL looks like there is life in the old striker yet ;)

52 mins - Ant takes the ball off Tony and pass's through to Grix, Grix takes control of the ball and slips it past Joe... GOALLLLLL... Notables pull one back...... Linesman flags up OFFSIDE NO GOAL.
78 mins - Grix and Ali both go for a dead ball, OUCH sore one for Grix... looks like he needs to go off, Grix's brain go's on as sub. Freekick to Notables.... FM hits the ball into the area, Ant gets above Tony and heads the ball towards the top right.... GOALLLLLLLLLLL Staff 2V1 Notables. The Notables pull one back.
90 mins - Into the closing stages of the match, Meka launches the ball upfield, over Ali and No.10 heads's, falls to the feet of FM...... great chance......... OHHHHHH JUST PAST THE POST.... Notables last chance has gone.

Gary Cheeser = So there we go the first match of the SR CUP over and what a cracker it was, So Alan your views on the match?
Alan Banana = Great game Gary, had everything. Defence was TERRIBLE though, Notables were just not tight enough.
Gary Cheeser = Yes it had goals, fouls, the first time a brain and Ant have played football, only in the SR CUP. Goodnight, tune in later for another thrilling battle of two FOG-class teams.
