"Who would have thought picking a new phone would be so difficult..."

Right, I'm being a proper Barley and getting myself a nice new phone. I'm prepared to go as high as £200, but it's got to have some very special features for that price. It's the first phone I've ever bought, and it's my birthday soon, so I'm treating myself.

I would have had an Orange SPV C500 last week, but the shop couldn't get it in, then I found out that he couldn't egt it PAYG, despite telling me otherwise, the bellend. So that's out. Next I saw the SonyEric k700i - nice, has a good camera, mp3s, mpeg4, videos, etc. But now they're bringing out that Sony Walkman phone, which looks like it does the same as the k700i, but it has a 2MegaPixel camera, which is pretty good. Only I'm not sure when it's out, or how much it'll cost (and it doesn't look as nice as the k700i). Sod it, I'm getting the k-thing, so long jerkwads.

The S700i is nearly £400! No way I'm spending that on a phone!

EDIT: Can't find how much the walkman phone is going to be, or when it is released. Anyone know?

The Sony Ericsson S700i, or S710a has a Memory Stick Duo slot, like the PSP.

One major reason why I'm considering getting one.

Icarus seems to be against them though, and every time I ask him what's wrong with them, he vanishes.

Bah, I thought the k700i had an expansion slot for one of those Sony cards. That was part of my reason for getting it - might wait for the Sony Walkman now, that deinitely does. And when I get my PSP I'll be able to happily swap between the two.

I've seen the camera light on a k700i. I've nearly regained my sight.

300 hours standby, which aint that bad.

I heard the battery life was a bit naff though. Also, how good are the images, and can you stream video on it? And how good is the web browsing?

To be fair, it was a good deal but I hardly use my phone these days and paying every month sucked.
