Hi there.

Icarus, before you being in your usual "googley-woogly it n00b!!!1" line, it's just a question to everyone to find out what people use.

For website coding I use Zend studio, which is fine.

But it doesn't highlight CSS for some reason.

So, anyone care to give any suggestions for a CSS editor, oh and notepad isn't viable enough for me, no highlighting etc

Nice looking app, may give it a go myself. Like the "collapse" feature, very similar to TopStyles.

Id the Highlighting customizable? One thing I like about TS Pro and DWMX2004 is the ability to customize how the syntax highlighting works.

FWIW...

You might like to take a look at Notepad++ http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/site.htm
It supports lots of languages and has some good features.

Worth adding to any 'tool kit' - oh, and it's FREE !

I use a combination of:

PHP Designer (Free)
TopStyle Pro (Cheap)
Dreamweaver MX2004 (Expensive)
Zend Studio (Again, Expensive)

It's rather simple really, you ask a generic question answered 2 trillion times before, and it's easily googled. I'm not insulting you, though recently you have degraded to simplisitic stupidity.

Aaaaanyway, the best CSS editor out there is TopStyle by Bradsoft.

Freeola & GetDotted are rated 5 Stars

Check out some of our customer reviews below:

The coolest ISP ever!
In my opinion, the ISP is the best I have ever used. They guarantee 'first time connection - everytime', which they have never let me down on.
Continue this excellent work...
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do, I am delighted.
