"Syntax highlighting software"

Hi there.

Icarus, before you being in your usual "googley-woogly it n00b!!!1" line, it's just a question to everyone to find out what people use.

For website coding I use Zend studio, which is fine.

But it doesn't highlight CSS for some reason.

So, anyone care to give any suggestions for a CSS editor, oh and notepad isn't viable enough for me, no highlighting etc

Heh, even worse! And one of our best lecturers swears by it too.

Well, at least it's not as bad as EMACS. I'd never actually felt nauseaus using a program before EMACS.

Ah cool, that notepad++ is excellent!

Oh and Tyla, you can configure the colours and fonts of the syntax highlighter.

There are numerous bits you can configure and there are also 'user define' functions.

Simple things like using it to 'view source' and closing it without the prompt "do you want to save..." that you would get with Windows Notepad is nice to have.

It doesn't do everything, but it's worth having!
