Just downloaded this due to the occasionally glitchy nature of IE. It seems to be the mutts nuts. I did have the original Mozilla which seemed generally inferior to the IE that was about at the time. So, are there any hidden major disadvantages of using Firefox - I remember I was unable to access my online banking with the old Mozilla.

Windows Media Player seems to work fine on Firefox for me.
To be honest, I've not found a single disadvantage of running firefox.
The best thing about it is it's extensions system, standards compliant browsing and CSS2 support.

CSS is slightly different, which is an ASS to sort out. Few niggly little thingys, but nothing to have a hissy fit about.
No Windows Media Players on websites, it has a seizure then a mental break down.
