Definitley, it is a faster card.
Don't take my word for it though, type in X800 XT or X850 XT Bench test into google or X800 vs 6800. You will see which card comes out on top nearly every time. Also ATI cards offer better picture quality.

I reckons, as it overclocks better and eventually you can run it in SLI with another GeForce.

But what about Pixel Shader 3.0 is it needed yet because a few games like SC: CT / FEAR / Far Cry etc use it. That's my only concern going for that card.
