Yeah the intro seems a little low quality. I'll have to check though.

That was me who mentioned about the sfx.

I still think that the intro music is really crap.

It sounds like its being played from a really crackly record.

However I think this might be my PS2/cd. All my other games are OK though. Which is strange.

Please confirm that the intro sounds ok and then I can see about changing the cd or something.

The FIA bit sounds good on mine btw.

I got the game this morning. Very good, I like the FIA intro e.t.c. I think I remember someone saying that they thought the engine sounds or SFX were crackly. I havent found that. The engine sound does go a little funny but thats due to the traction control system kicking in, so that sound is part of the game a releastic aswell. I think I would be sacked by the end of the year, by the way I was driving as Micheal Schumacher.

Does any one know if you can save at any point during a championship - like half way through a race?

Where's the Marshall's, and the waving flags in the crowd have no posts. Apart from that and a few other details that sad people like myself might spot the game is very good.

The podium celebrations are really pants.

Since when have the drivers actually wore caps that matched their teams colour.

I think the whole area is a bit of a let down. The people dont even look right. Surely Psygnosis could have done better.

Sorry Studio Liverpool or whatever sony call them now.

Yep - There is a full season mode which includes all practice laps, qualifying and pre race warm ups. If you choose race length at 100% you get the whole 70 odd laps to get through!! But take my word for it, Its not easy!!

I've just ordered F1 2001. So hopefully I can get it Wed/Thurs. I have A-Level exams at the moment untill June 13th. So I will only be able to have the quick go in between my Studying. I have watched the game on the PSW DVD, it looks amazing. It must be a good game if it got 10/10 as other good games have only scored 9/10. Apart from GT3 which also got 10/10. Is there a sort of chapionship mode where you can have all the races in order and the full number of laps?
