First of all, I'm not denying he's a good player.
But...don't you guys think he's slightllly over-ratd?
18 goals this season, 2nd best, yes. But half of them (9 for the slightly less educated folk (Stu)) have been penalties.
And we get people hailing him as England's saviour.
He's really not that great.
Yes I'm annoyed due to comments such as 'Johnson is soooo much better than Defoe'
Yeh, if Defoe had had 9 pens this season he'd be bloody top scorer!

Penalties still need to be converted. Just look at Henry's and Owen's penalty record.
How the hell have palace had more penalties than us though?! We should satart getting a few more now that van is back though.

Johnson will probably single handedly keep Palace up this season, without him they would certainly be in the bottom 3 by now. I think we will find that he'll move to a bigger team next season, possibly back to birmingham or somewhere like Villa. Will he be the same player there? im not so sure only time will tell.
