Righty, I'm posting it here, not to annoy you, but because Special Reserve refrain from selling this title for the Dreamcast thus here it shall go!
'This is not resident Evil'
House of the Dead 2 arrived on Dreamcast just after launch to rave reviews and applause, thanks to it being converted perfectly from the fantastic arcade game! It now remains one of the best gun games around, and the only one in fact (until Confidential Mission arrives) to let you shoot the screen!
The package with the gun is essential, as the controller alone doesn't fit the bill, however if you're flashy enough to own the 100hz Sony huge widescreen television then hahaha, you can't play with the gun! Anyway, with the idea of shooting your way through the game to achieve whatever it is you feel you've accomplished, ignoring the typically awful acting and muffled voices, blasting away zombies and monsters that appear from everywhere, I think they even named some of the characters!
The graphics are nothing short of spectacular without any jaggedness at all (PS2 owners take note: games without graphical promlems as well as housing good gameplay are 'better', 'better' you see? D'oh I have a PS2!) HOTD2 is a visual feast! Two of you can play, or if you've been locked in a room on your own, then you can play on your own, but I thorougly recommend selecting the two player option, aside from the reason that the game always instructs you 'do not go into the house alone', playing the 2 player game, with one of you playing - with two guns, can be quite funny actually!
Honestly though, it's not at all scary, just really great fun! Definitely one of the top-ten Dreamcast games and an essential purchase for all, let down slightly, only by the shortness. Get it! Seeing as SR don't sell it, they won't mind me saying that it's just £24.99 from Sega Europe ;)
There, you see? I'm not bitter and I can write less than a thousand words for a review!!!
(What do you mean 'get some sleep!'?)
Thanks,

I'll check your review!
Dan nice review, have a read of my Super Mario Advance review which didn't win, but I thought it was the best review I have done!
