Haha, greatness. My router had the same IP as my connection from Xbox -> PC. Therefore it was allowing it to connect until it did an IP check or something, and then it would terminate the connection.

Yes.
I think it may be something to do with Norton IS... It sounds like some of the files are corrupted, so I'm going to uninstall, update to 2005 (needed to anyway) and see what happens then.

If its connected wirelessly, might their be interfeerance between transmitter thing, and the receiver?

Give it some Paracetomal.
You checked for corrupted files or whatever on your computer? have you got Lavasoft's adaware, and spybot search and destroy (they find different things that are bad or corrupted)
