hehe, no, Portsmouth. so to be fair, it'd take more cameras than there probably are to watch over every crappy section of the city. i think i live in one of the 2 nicer areas.

There are some in the Bigg Market, and yeah they do make me feel safer.
On the other hand, one can have too much of a good thing. So much so that it becomes a very very bad thing indeed. CCTV in crime hotspots is one thing. CCTV damn near everywhere "to help maintain law and order" is so 1984 that it's beyond belief.
