I bet nearly all xbox buyers are PC owners because they think microsoft rule the world of games because they've only seen games on the PC.

Microsoft's xbox owners will then be ex pc gamers and you'll probably get bored away from quake and unreal.so why move to the xbox which is nothing special (I've seen it running twice) so why buy the xbox when you probably own something even more powerfull right in front of you now.

think it over

Errr... well the N643 launched in Japan with only ONE game... Mario.

You didn't even have a choice of which game to get.

3 months after launch there were only 4 games.

Initially I'm buying the Xbox for one game, but I'm sure there will be countless more quality titles to follow.

I'm going to buy an Xbox and I'm not a PC gamer. But maybe I am the exception to the rule. The main reason I will be splashing out on an Xbox is because it will have its own exclusive version of the best pure video game of all time: Crazy Taxi Next.

If you look at most of Microsofts PC games, they are all strategy, Train Sim, Age Of Empires, but the most successful console games are shooters, racers and action games so if these 'xbox' buyers are pc owners, why not stick to the PC and play games on that!

The Xbox will be a machine for PC owners, I totally agree after all it costs loads to constantly upgrade a PC to play the latest games...The Xbox will get rid of all those problems, plus Im now convinced that it will play PC titles...yes games that have been realeased for the PC.

Microsoft may not want this but Im sure there are enough enthusiasts to program a little magic and make this emulation a reality. This should mean that the games on Xbox will come down to the price of PC games. This is surely good news for all of us.

---X-Box---

well, residentevil fan, have you even bothered to read up about the x-box because by the sounds I think that you think it is like a high tech Nintendo and all it can do is play games, that aint what it is like at all,

Well mabey it is like a pc because of the specs that I have found about it look at these,

733MHz chip, 250MHz Graphics thing
4.8 GIGAPIXELS per second
DVD discs (4.3Gb)
4 Hand Contoller ports
Ethernet Port (network gaming)
8Gb Hard Drive
Internet

Ok so that is the basics that I found about it but the gaming will be great because of the graphics that x-box got from nvidia and also the 8Gb hard drive will be able to save quite a lot of stuff on it. Also the X-Box has the internet and can do online gaming as well as network gaming.

So they x-box will not just be for pc owners or users because it can be used for more than playing games, see the special reserve review at http://www.ukxbox.com and it tells you all this complicated stuff. Also if it was for pc onwers then everyone would be wanting one coz there is not much households now with out a pc.

I think i will be putting in a deposit for the X-Box with special reserve only £20 and you will get it first unless you buy it from the US first then take it here. Special Reserve says the X-Box will be available in early 2002 which I can probably wait so I can save up for it however much it is, i dont know yet.

hey, does anyone know how much the x-box is actually going to cost because i dont have a clue. Please find out!
