Ok, basically I'm bored out of my mind and intend on purchasing a load of music. See below for a list of bands whose albums I wish to buy in the near future, and use them to recommend me some new music to listen to :]

Bloc Party

The Bravery

Kaiser Chiefs

Babyshambles

Others

Possibly the Prodigy's latest album, but I'm not sure. Love the track Girls, but is the rest of the album comparable? In saying this I like their older style as well so if it's anything like that I'm sold as well.

Thanks.

[edit] Forgot about The Doves, although I've not really heard much of them yet except for their current single. Album probably isn't out for ages knowing me, but has anyone else heard any of it yet?

Best thing Linkin Park ever did was the Reanimation of Hybrid Theory, rest of it pales in comparison to be honest, went off of them soon after starting to like them.

That may not give a fair representation of the passion behind the comment though.

w00t, just because a lot of other people liked them means I'm wrong?

If it makes you feel any better, in my opinion Linkin Park are pants, although I shouldn't have to say that because I'm the one saying it and it obviously is my opinion.

I'll just quote the winamp site http://winamp.com/videos/artist.php?id=447095: -

Singles such as "Crawling" and "One Step Closer" were massive radio hits and video favorites among the TRL crowd on MTV. Joint tours with Family Values and the Project: Revolution Tour with Cypress Hill led the band to play 324 shows in 2001. Linkin Park was in demand. Come January 2002, Hybrid Theory received three Grammy nominations for"Best Rock Album" and "Best New Artist. A month later, Linkin Park walked away with an award for "Best Hard Rock Performance" for "Crawling."

One step closer was OK. It went downhill from there.
