This is my review of the MP2 box.

Initially the box is a standard affair, black rectangle, opens like a book, has a thingy inside to clip the disc on etc. But the similarities stop [roughly] there. Cast a quick eye across the front of the box and you'll notice something; this box is different, this box is new, this box is the future, this box is EXTREME TO THE MAX!!

Why so amazing? It's holographic! The front features a large picture of Samus looking awesome, with a big faded-into-the-background picture of a Chozo. The background is all shiny, as is the game title and logo. The back holds yet further treats; pictures of two new aliens, some screenshots and even more awesome holographic shinyness. Also while looking at it from any number of different angles, you can witness stunning blanketed rainbows eminating from the silky surface.

In summary then:

Strengths
- Holographic!
- Shiny!
- Awesome 'new box' smell
- Easy to remove wrapping
- Fantastic artwork
- Rainbows!!!!
- Writing on back in English and French (Canadian box)
- SHINY SHINY SHINY!!!

Weaknesses
NONE!

I give this box 10/10.

umm..review of the game like, later or something...whatever.

Haha, the opposite of ZOE. That game is the worst for misleading the public about its length. They talk about things that they're going to do, and the game finishes before they do them. It feels like you're about 25% of the way there, then the damn credits roll.

I've just restored energy to the first temple, and am currently en-route to the second. Also, I love Dark Suit- it looks really really cool.

And yeah, excellent game. It's everything I loved from the first, but with a better 'feel' and experience.

I think Echoes is longer than I had expected.

I appear to have revealed the entire map and yet it says my game is only 38% complete, and I've been playing for just over 9 hours. Seems like what the game is initially about turns out to be only the halfway point..

you disgust me.

The Metroid muliplayer is actualy really damn good. I played 3 player last night and it's really frantic, mainly because you never survive for very long. the levels are really well designed, especially the Crossfire one, as there's a constant rush for the super missiles, which are devestating. With two players I imagine it would be not so good, but with three, the Bounty Hunter mode really comes alive. It's relly surpassed my expectations greatly, and the people I played it with really enjoyed it as well. The Spacehopper Station level from the E3 and Gamestars demo is really the weakest level which is probably why everyone didn't rate the multiplayer at first, but it really is quite good. Give it a go with a couple of mates - the control system is easy as well, much more intuitive than a traditional FPS so even people who are rubbish will put up a fair fight.

I gaot South Park for £5 second hand about a year ago. Worth it indeed.

I still stand by that the multiplayer was amusing.

I imagine they lost 20% of their circulation around that time.

Ooh yes walljumping with the screw attack thingy. I remember seeing the NGC review but trusting NOM on South Park and buying it anyway. That was the last NOM I ever bought, and thank God.

The mostly sickening thing is that we were all decieved into buying it by NOM.

On the Echoes front, I didn't know they'd brought wall jumping back in this one. So..hooray and stuff *waves flag*
