It's about that time again. Wednesday 23rd of Feb. Mark it in your diaries.

Every few months we hold an election for a new notable to be added to the board. A notable gets their name in Gold, and the love, respect and adulation of the rest of the forum regulars in recognition of their services to the cause of UKChatForums.com

This is for regulars only - newbies cannot win or vote I am afraid. I'll post the specific rules of the election closer to the time, but for now this just to let you know it's time to start determining campaign strategies, canvassing voters and kissing babies.

I'd ask you to vote for me, but I think it'd go to my head. One day I'd be pulling out a slice of warburtons toasty loaf to slam in the toaster for brekky, the next I'd be snorting coke off some supermodels thigh bone, while tactfully turning down sponsorship deals from Sony on my diamond encrusted nokia. Or is it the other way round? Meh, I just don't think I could take all that in, chaps ... My name shall remain forever purple, or bad things will happen. Bad, Bad things.

I think they should give me a special status for the discrimination. I mean even you don't get discriminated against and you could be a gay Tory for all we know!
