I'm downloading a game at the moment through Limewire and want to know how to run and install the file if it is a zip file.

Is there some sort of process I have to go through or do I just double click on the icon and install the game?

It also notes on the download that I dont need a disc.

Usually just double-click the item because it will be a Self-Extracting Zip.
If not then download WinRAR or WinZip.

Better not be an illegal game :)

You will do if you continue to run pirated software from Limewire. Antivirus software won't help you.

Really?
Can you tell me why?

I think I should know before I download anything else from there.

Think about it - if someone has taken the time to remove all the copy-protection and serial checking code from a software, what's to stop them embedding a bit of code into the game that opens up a port, giving the hacker full access to your machine? Your antivirus software won't detect that, cos it's part of the game!
