Thin Lizzy rock. Never really listened to much of their stuff until I started playing in this covers band, and we do 3 of their songs: Whiskey, Boys Are Back in Town, and Jailbreak. The music and solos are excellent, and when did 70s pop ever have good lyrics? It's just a bit of fun.
Oh, and they have some amazing solos.
Yeah, their lyrics can't compare to Cedric's.

Not bad, just really formulaic. Especially the lyrics.
They should get the guy from Ocean Colour Scene to front them, was listening to Hundred Mile High City and refused to believe it wasn't Thin Lizzy.
Who's singing for them now then?
It's like a Thin Lizzy tribute band. Just a very good one.
