I do see your point, I've been getting lots of that even when I'm not pointless (most of the time). In my opinion, there's nothng worse than getting slagged off by a person you'll never meet for a single typo, or for whatever holes there are in your personal views of the world.
The reason most newbies write lots of pointless things is so that they can become regualars quickly and avoid all the crap that's chucked their (our) way. Possibly one of the reasons that this forum is dying (so I hear). Vive le revolution!

The main problem is that when a "Just Arrived" shows up, they post a whole load of pointless topics. Having a go at the noobs is totally justifiable because they really do post some stupid stuff.
I see your point though, some of the regulars hate the newbies, but a lot of the time they probably deserve to be hated...when i first came to this chat i made loads of new topics because i was enthusiastic and thought i had some good ideas, only to find out that everyone hates newbies who post new topics and my ideas were in fact total rubbish. Now i try to make new topics if i think people can really talk about something properly rather than everyone just agree with what i say. I get slated a lot fro what i say, but you just try and get your point across and then if you are wrong then you apologise or go away and sulk...i normally go with the first one!
